The Leisure Box Facility at Northlight

The project comprised the design and construction of a state of the art facility which has become a community hub with space to play sport, learn, climb, play and to eat. The award winning development officially opened by RT Hon Theresa May in spring 2019 includes an indoor 3G pitch, education suites, a children’s soft play area, clip ‘n’ climb facility, dance studios along with indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The facility operated by Burnley FC in the Community, Burnley FC’s official charity, is part of the wider development works that are currently underway on the Northlight site, which is owned by joint venture company Pearl (Brierfield Mill) comprising Barnfield Construction and Pendle Borough Council.
