Spinning Point Phase One, Rawtenstall

Project Summary: Donald Lomax and Partners are currently working with Rossendale Borough Council on the development of the new Transport Interchange Facility, known as Spinning Point, in the centre of Rawtenstall. This project comprises of the construction of a brand new eight bay bus station with retail units, a public square and associated car parking. Alongside this, the project has involved the demolition of the former police station, works to form new access roads adjacent the development and the conversion of the Former Town Hall building into to 10,000 square foot of Grade A offices.

Services Provided: The DLP team were appointed to act as Employers Agent along with undertaking other essential Quantity Surveying Services on this project.

Value Added: On such a large and complex project, which has experienced a number of difficulties and setbacks, the DLP team have supported the client to overcome all challenges faced and to assist in delivering a modern facility for the use by residents of Rawtenstall and the wider Rossendale area.
