Sigma Park Warehouse & Office Facility, Blackburn
Project Summary: The project comprised the construction of a structural steel framed high bay warehouse facility with 14m clear height to the underside of steelwork together with integral office accommodation which was split over three floors. Externally the site works including the formation of a Service Area, Trailer Park, Car Parking along with site landscaping works and drainage installations.
Services Provided: The DLP team were appointed by the Client to carry out the role of Employers Agent and to undertake Quantity Surveying services on the Project. At the Pre-Contract stage DLP assisted with the negotiation of the contract sum and liaised with the Contractors project team regarding the specification and value engineering of the Project. Post Contract we organised site meetings, carried out interim valuations, agreed the final account and issued certification under the JCT D&B contract.
