Ribble Valley Private Residential Development
Project Summary: The project comprised the construction of a sustainable house set within idyllic surroundings. The design team ensured that the Client was able to maximise the stunning moorland views through the installation of large glazed elevations, balconies and carefully positioned terraced areas. The property was constructed utilising a timber SIPS system with external elevations clad in a mixture of timber boarding, through coloured render and local stone. Highly efficient Mechanical and Electrical installations were an integral element to the project and ensured the property obtained an exceptional energy rating upon completion. .
Services Provided: DLP were appointed to carry out Quantity Surveying services on the project which included preparation of Budget Cost Estimates at pre-contract stage followed by the coordinated issue of tender documents from the Design Team for selected Main Contractors to review and submit competitive tenders. Post Contract the construction works were carried out under a JCT Form of Building Contract with DLP completing duties including the review and certification of interim payment applications, agreement of variation costs, preparation of periodical financial reports and agreement of the final account
