Project Works for Princes Food Ltd

Project Summary: Donald Lomax and Partners have provided Quantity Surveying services for Princes Foods Ltd for over 10 years. During that time DLP have been in involved in a wide and varied range of projects at a number sites throughout the UK. Projects range from the multi-million pound re-roofing of production areas, construction of new store facilities, production areas and link bridges, extensive office refurbishment, drainage repairs, site logistics and infrastructure upgrades.

Services Provided: DLP are involved from the early stages of projects to produce Budget Cost Estimates of various options to ascertain the financial feasibility. Once budget approval has been granted, DLP facilitates the tendering process and subsequent contract awards. As project co-ordinators DLP attend regular site meetings to liaise with the project personnel and co-ordinate plant and equipment installation together with reviewing early warning notices and issuing compensation events. DLP also review and certify interim payment applications, agree variation costs and ultimately review and agree the final account with the Main Contractors for each project.
