Noble Foods, Whitney

Project Summary: The works for Noble Foods, the Happy Eggs company, comprised the construction of a 7,600m2 packing, storage and distribution facility together with the refurbishment of the existing building for one of the UK’s largest egg production companies. The Packaging and Distribution facility was constructed to comply with food manufacturers’ standard and is temperature controlled with hygienic wall and ceiling panels. The packing areas were to a medium care standard and included food safe floor finishes. The works were phased to allow on site activities to be maintained in the existing facility for the duration of the Contract. An extensive infrastructure package was also included within the project comprising formation of new access roads, car parking, substantial hardstanding areas, drainage installations and S278 works.

Services Provided: The DLP team were appointed provide Quantity Surveying services throughout this project from its conception in the form of preparing Budget Cost Estimates through to agreement of the Final Account with the main contractor at the completion of the project
