Market Street, Colne

Project Summary: The project comprised the design and construction of a three-storey mixed use retail and residential building on the main high street in Colne town centre. The site which formerly housed the town’s health centre now comprises three ground floor retail units and 12 Nr apartments which are occupied by residents of The Peter Birtwistle Trust.

The works were completed within a Conservation Area which includes the historic Richmond Court, the Grade II listed Red Lion pub next door and the 15th century market cross opposite.

Services Provided: The DLP team were appointed by the Client to carry out the role of Employers Agent and to undertake Quantity Surveying services on the Project.
