Dance Studios at Hammond School, Chester
Project Summary: The construction of the Centenary Dance Studios was the third major development project which HPA & DLP have undertaken for the school, having previously overseen the construction of the New Performing Arts Centre and Dance Studios Nr One.
The Centenary Studios comprised the construction of three new state of the art studios, a learning resource centre and a new cafeteria along with the formation of essential changing and welfare facilities. The studio followed a similar design to that which had previously been completed on site and incorporated a structural steel frame and was finished externally in a mixture of through coloured render and insulated cladding panels.
Services Provided: DLP were appointed to prepare tender documentation and negotiate the contract sum with Pinington Limited along with completing post contract Quantity Surveying services throughout the duration of the site works.
