Student Accommodation Extension for Dallam School
Project Summary: The project comprised the construction of a 12 bed ensuite student accommodation block adjacent to the existing student accommodation. The construction comprised a timber framed structure with the external leaf finished in a mixture of through coloured render and timber cladding. The works were carefully programmed by the main contractor as the existing school and student accommodation block remained open and operational during the majority of the works.
Services Provided: The DLP team were appointed to act Quantity Surveyors on this 20 week project
Value Added: DLP worked with lead design consultant HPA throughout the project, providing budget cost advice following the completion of the initial outline scheme drawings through to reviewing potential design changes whilst works were being completed on site. DLP were able to provide the Client with regular financial reports to ensure they were fully aware of the anticipated expenditure for the project.
