Works at Caravan & Motorhome Club Sites, UK
Donald Lomax and Partners have provided Quantity Surveying services for the Caravan & Motorhome Club on new and existing sites throughout the UK over a period of 12 years.
New Club Sites have been constructed on both brownfield & greenfield sites and consist of Site Roads & Infrastructure including services / drainage together with caravan & motorhome pitches and storage compounds. Construction of new buildings including Reception Areas, Warden Accommodation & Toilet Facilities complete the site. The value of new sites where DLP have carried out cost control services range from £1.75m to £2.50m and examples of the new sites are as follows :-

Services Provided: DLP were appointed by the Client to carry out Quantity Surveying services on Projects as part of a full Design Team lead by the Caravan & Motorhome Club’s Development Managers. At the Pre-Contract stage DLP prepared Budget Cost Estimates, carried out Value Engineering and prepared tender documents in the form of Work Schedules and Bills of Quantities. Post Contract DLP carried out interim valuations, agreed the value of variations & final account under both the JCT intermediate Form of Contract and JCT Standard Form of Contract with Quantities
