Alum Scar Private Residential Development

Project Summary: Multi phased works which were completed to allow the owner of the Georgian property to provide a family home for their growing family. Following an initial extension and alterations project which include the formation of swimming pool and gym facility a complete overhaul of the premises was carried out which included the reorganisation of the internal layout and the extension of the ground floor to provide a large contemporary kitchen / family area.

The layout of the grounds and gardens were also redesigned to provide a contemporary setting complete with ponds and seating areas.

Services Provided: DLP were appointed to carry out Quantity Surveying services on the project working alongside local architects Campbell Driver Partnership. DLP coordinated the issue of tender documents from the design team for negotiation with the selected Main Contractor. Post Contract the construction works were carried out under a JCT Form of Building Contract with DLP undertaking reviews and certification of interim payment applications, agreement of variation costs, preparation of periodical financial reports and agreement of the final account.
